Window
I am thinking about a window everyday when I am working in my studio. I can not stay for a long in a space without a window. Window is usually transparent and divided with private and public space. Visible but untouchable... Window is a perfect device for me; I want to keep my space separately from public but want to see what it happens outside of my room.

Corner: Still working...
"Being on corner" often represents as the feeling of depression and something negative feelings.
However, for me, corner is my favorite space in a room because I feel safe and comfortable. Two walls behind me I can see whole space in the room...
Now, my feeling is different... I am working all day "corner project" and have been considering about the space of corner since fall 2010 almost everyday...
Whenever I place myself on a corner for this project, I synchronize with my current feeling...
I finally feel "corner" now...

Denmark and Sweden...
Bikes are everywhere in Copenhagen. Love it ! My friend told me that above bikes are called "Christiania Bike."
I like Danish architecture.
I definitely go to grocery stores to see their cultures whenever I travel.
The basket is my favorite in Danish grocery store. Well designed.
Food is great. I kept eating danish bread. Open sandwiches are also awesome.
I have no idea left photo. I always can see 3 streets: for car, bike, and walking people ! We need them in the US and then I can bike safely.
Frozen canal...
half melt canal...
People was checking that canal was still frozen with stones from street...

Last night in Scandinavia in my travel.
Forårsudstillingen 2011 !
I went to Copenhagen to participate the opening for Forårsudstillingen 2011 on Mar 3rd. The show will be held on Mar 5 through Apr 25. You would see 54 artists' works. The gallery is a beautiful and big space nearby downtown in Copenhagen. The show is composed with a variety of works and artists, such as video, installation, design, craft, sculpture and etc.
I showed my video work "Linjelös" that I am weaving spider webs and made the work last summer in Sweden. I would like to say special thanks to Shirin Adhami (taking a video for the work) and Hanna Lundborg (translating Swedish on my video).
Personally, I am really interested in Riikka Kuoppala's video work in the show. She is a Finish video artist. You would see two of her video works on the exhibition. I love one of her work "No Sings of Fear."In the video, she uses her 5 senses to feel and remember her home. I like how she tries to tell her personal story to audience on the video.
